Welcome to Boomerang Skip Hire & Recycling

Boomerang Skip Hire operates in Tipperary and bordering counties Laois, Offaly & Kilkenny.

Michael Ryan & Sinead Maher combined forces in 2005 to create Boomerang Skips & Recycling. The main drivers for this company were to operate a recycling conscience skip hire company, to introduce competition into the market and provide a cost effective, personal and efficient service.

Michael Ryan has many years experience in the waste business so he had practical knowledge of the requirements coupled with a great local knowledge. Sinead Maher is a qualified Chemist; she had been working in Research & development for the pharmaceutical sector since 1999, her studies involved waste management and environmental studies. Having worked in one of the most regulated business sectors she brought her documentation and traceability skills to the company. This facilitates the professional handling of the regulatory requirements, ensuring your waste is disposed of or recycled in the correct manner.

To date we are licensed to operate in both the midlands and the south east regions. In 2006 we recycled over 70% of all the waste we collected, compared with the national figures for municipal waste recovery which was 34.6 % in 2005.
